Our story
It started with one woman's skin.
John DeBerry, a Durham businessman and civic leader, went looking for something that would calm his wife's Lupus-related skin irritation. He found burdock root — used since ancient Egypt for skin and healing. Six months after his first bar of burdock soap, her skin had changed.
