Batches of a few hundred
Everything is blended in North Carolina in runs of a few hundred units. Cold-process soap needs four to six weeks to cure before it can be sold, which sets a hard ceiling on how fast we can respond to demand.
That is the honest reason a product occasionally shows as low stock. There is no scarcity mechanic behind it.
The trade-off
A larger contract manufacturer would fix the supply problem and change the product. Cold-process at volume means harder bars, longer shelf-life additives, and a different feel. We have chosen the slower version.
